Xiaomi unveiled a high-end OLED TV. It’s thinner than your cell phone

Towards the end of last year, Xiaomi introduced a pair of new TV series, but they were only available in China. Now the company also revealed them at its stand at the MWC in Barcelona, where we were also able to view them.

Xiaomi TV Master OLED 77″ is a high-end TV whose thickness is only 8.2 mm. So it’s thinner than a lot of Android phones, which we can confirm as we’ve seen it live. It goes without saying 4K panel with OLED technology and support for standards such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ. In the peak, it can also shine up to 1000 nits. This is a really high value by the standards of TVs with OLED, and although we only had the opportunity to look at it for a few minutes, we can confirm that the image quality is really top notch.

The Chinese company did not forget to support UWB technology, which premium phones have. The sound side is provided by 70W speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The performance is then average. Quad-core MediaTek in combination with 8 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage will not impress you. In China, this TV is sold for almost 70,000 crowns. Unfortunately, the European price was not communicated to us, nor is it clear whether it will be imported in bulk.

Would you buy a premium TV from Xiaomi?
