Xiaomi to try to steal the show from Samsung next week

Next week will be marked by the Unpacked event, which Samsung is hosting on August 11. But despite an enticing program with two foldable smartphones and a new connected watch, the manufacturer could be stolen the spotlight by Xiaomi! The day before, August 10, therefore, the number 1 manufacturer in Europe and number 2 in the world, will reveal his new MI MIX 4.

It will be a presentation to watch closely, as Xiaomi generally reserves its latest innovations for the MI MIX family. In 2016, the manufacturer had thus imagined a first generation with a design reducing the borders around the screen as much as possible, before this became a major trend in the industry.

In 2019, Xiaomi also wowed its world with the MI MIX Alpha, a concept smartphone with a wraparound screen, in front, behind and even on the edges! Suddenly, we will be interested in the announcement of MI MIX 4, that the rumor has of course started to deflower. According to pictures shared by IT Home, this smartphone should integrate a second screen on the back, right next to the photo block.

Already, it’s nice even if not quite new: the same Xiaomi opened the ball in March with the MI 11 Ultra. The manufacturer should add the integration, under the 6.7-inch screen, of the 32-megapixel selfie photo sensor: again, this is not a novelty, ZTE having already developed such devices.

In the case of the MIX 4 however, it seems that Xiaomi has positioned the photo module right in the middle of the screen, well, under the screen, in which we will also find a fingerprint reader. For the rest, it will be a high-end smartphone with a Snapdragon 888 chip, between 6 and 12 GB of RAM, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
