Xiaomi will hold a press conference at the end of this month to launch a new generation of flagship models-Xiaomi 14 series. This series will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the first time, which is currently Qualcomm’s most powerful mobile processor.
According to bloggers Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor will increase the CPU frequency. The ultra-large core Cortex-X4 CPU frequency will be increased from the original 3.2GHz to 3.3GHz to further improve performance.
In addition, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor also contains three 3.15GHz A720 + two 2.96GHz A720 + two 2.27GHz A520 cores. It can be seen that the maximum core frequency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor has exceeded 3.0GHz, and the performance will be very powerful.
In terms of GPU, the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor uses an integrated Adreno 750 GPU. Compared with the previous generation of GPU, the performance has been improved by 35% and supports mobile ray tracing technology.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor will be unveiled at the Snapdragon Summit next week, when major manufacturers will officially announce their Snapdragon 8 Gen3 flagship models. The first batch of models include iQOO 12 series, Red Magic 9 series, Honor Magic6 series, OnePlus 12 series, OPPO Find X7 series, etc.
