Next October, Xiaomi will hold a conference to launch the company’s special versions of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro phones, along with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
The leaks that came from the “Digital Chat Station” showed that the Ultra phone comes with advanced camera options.
Xiaomi is also testing the Ultra phone, with quad rear camera settings, which includes a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, with an ISOCELL HP9 sensor from Samsung.
Samsung’s ISOCELL HP9 sensor features a 1/1.4-inch size, which supports the production of 200 million pixels with a size of 0.56 micrometers per pixel to increase pixel density and capture finer details.
The sensor also comes with tetra pixel technology, which works to combine 4 by 4 pixels to convert the sensor to a 12-megapixel resolution with a larger pixel size of 2.24 micrometers The sensor enhances the bokeh effect in images, and also burns low light with greater efficiency and accuracy by drawing more light to images.
The HP9 sensor also comes with a remosaic algorithm to increase the magnification within the sensor up to 2 or 4 times, and is also integrated with telephoto lenses to support optical zoom up to 12 times to enhance image quality.
It should be noted that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra phone came with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 main sensor, with variable lenses, and the Hyper optical stabilization feature, and the options also include a 50- megapixel and ultra-wide viewing angles, along with two telephoto cameras with an IMX858 sensor, The camera supports 8K video recording.
