The Xiaomi brand has a long history of its smart fitness bracelets, which even under the name Mi Band practically defined this entire category, Samsung joined Fitness bracelets later and is no newcomer. He started selling his first Gear Fit in 2014, i.e. ten years ago. However, both brands are currently competing strongly with their latest generations of smart bracelets. We were able to test both, compare them, and we will tell you what makes one better, and what makes the other better.

We tried on the bracelet in the editorial office Xiaomi Smart Band8 Pro and a bracelet Samsung Galaxy Fit3, and these are our impressions of using both models simultaneously. I wore them non-stop even in my sleep, alternating the watch between my left and right hands every day (including additional settings) so that no model was favored. And how did it all turn out?
The design, the initial turn on and the strap
The first look already suggests that it will not be a completely balanced fight. Especially thanks to the size of the bracelets, the one from Xiaomi is better in terms of display diagonal and battery capacity. The Smart Band 8 Pro has been equipped with a larger but plastic body, which is quite shiny on the sides, and residual moisture clings to it. Samsung, on the other hand, is more subtle and slightly lighter. The aluminum body of the bracelet is matte, but the inner part is made of plastic. Overall, it gives a more modern impression…
