Xiaomi is preparing to launch its first electric car in 2024.

The car, codenamed MS11, recently received Bluetooth Technology Alliance SIG certification, revealing more information about its configuration.

The car reached the certification body with several different models of Xiaomi Car with IC4034-BD, IC4004-BD, IC4024-BD, IC4054-BD, IC4005-BD and IC4015-BD, as the list confirms the presence of Bluetooth 5.2 and USB support.

Apple CarPlay

The car will also support Apple CarPlay, which will allow users to connect their iPhones to the car’s infotainment screen.

The service provides an interface that allows you to control many of your smartphone applications directly on your car’s screen instead of having to hold it in your hand. For example, when making a phone call, you can use the car’s built-in speakers and microphone to handle the sound.

You’ll also be able to use the voice assistant Siri when your phone is connected via CarPlay, allowing you to use the system hands-free.

Other rumored features include a 101 kWh battery, 800-volt support, and high-voltage fast charging.

The price of the Xiaomi car is expected to range between 260,000 yuan and 350,000 yuan (US$36,400-49,000).
