Xiaomi Rolls Out Virtual RAM Update on Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G

RANCAH POST – Virtual RAM technology now seems to be one of the important features that must be on a smartphone. Recently, Xiaomi was also reported to have rolled out a virtual RAM update for the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G.

Therefore, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G became the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature 2 GB of virtual RAM. This means that users can increase the RAM capacity of their smartphone by 2 GB.

To be able to use this feature, the user must first update the OS. This update will be provided via OTA and is being distributed with China.

When the virtual RAM feature is activated, the phone’s internal storage memory capacity will be reduced to be allocated as additional virtual RAM. The increase in RAM capacity certainly increases the smartphone’s performance for multitasking.

The RAM capacity of the Xiaomi Redmi Note series smartphone can be increased up to 2 GB. So, depending on the RAM configuration you have.

For example, if you are a Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G user with a 6 GB RAM variant, then you can convert it to 8 GB with the help of the RAM expansion feature. Likewise with the 8 GB RAM variant, users can expand it to 10 GB.

According to reports, this software update has just been rolled out in China on an OTA basis. But it is very likely that Xiaomi will bring it to the global market and spread this feature to other new series of phones.
