“Xiaomi removes free cloud recording for their cameras – what customers need to know”

Dear Xiaomi camera users,

Thank you for your continued support of Xiaomi cameras. Due to a business adjustment, the free Auto Surveillance recording service will be phased out on April 30, 2023. Auto Surveillance videos will no longer be recorded after that date. However, videos recorded in the last 7 days can still be downloaded and saved to your phone.

If you want to continue storing and accessing your camera recordings, you can save the videos locally on an SD card or in the cloud by subscribing to Xiaomi Home Secure

You will have continuous access to all other features of Xiaomi cameras, including real-time surveillance display and event notifications.
