CUP technology offers a 400 ppi borderless display in the camera zone, matching the pixel density, brightness and color detail of the surrounding screen.
Although the camera is almost invisible to the eye, the Xiaomi MIX 4 combines the capabilities of both hardware and software to ensure that photos and videos taken using the front camera retain true-to-life colors and details.
This is done through Xiaomi’s CUP technology, which minimizes light diffraction through a special circuit design, as well as the new transparent curved wire material Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) combined with the imaging algorithm.
