Recently, more and more vendors have installed periscope telephoto cameras on their devices. In fact, it is no longer limited to flagship devices, this camera is also included in middle class cellphones.
There is also this trend, Xiaomi admits that it is reluctant to install a periscope on the Redmi Note 13 Pro. They prefer to install a 200 MP camera on their new device.
Rendy Tonggo, Product Marketing Manager of Xiaomi Indonesia, said the Redmi Note 13 series brings many aspects. Firstly, the flagship level experience is realized in high camera specifications, the design is more ergonomic, simple and iconic, the battery is long lasting and has good durability.
“What is clear is that we want to bring a flagship level experience all around,” said Rendy during a media briefing session for the Redmi Note 13 series in Jakarta.

“When taking photos, users use the main camera more. By using the in-sensor zoom, the main camera is more versatile than when we use other cameras. I think using the in-sensor is used more often, more versatile and simpler, that’s what “Why do we use an in-sensor on the Redmi Note 13 Pro series,” explained Rendy.
Color quality is also considered more consistent. Apart from that, the use of an in-sensor also makes the cellphone frame easier to hold than using a periscope camera.
“So the body is not too big. But returning to user references, I personally prefer something that is easier to hold,” concluded Randy.
