Xiaomi launched its newest mid-range class cellphone in Indonesia, namely the Redmi Note 12 series.

In Indonesia, Xiaomi has released three models of the Redmi Note 12 series, including the regular Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.

Specifically for the Redmi Note 12 Pro (4G), Xiaomi will only announce prices and availability at the end of May 2023.

Following are the specifications for the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G.

Redmi Note 12 specifications

Redmi Note 12 is the bottom model.

For screen specifications, the Redmi Note 12 carries a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD Plus resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum screen brightness level of 1,200 nits.

The screen has a punch hole that houses a 13 MP front camera.

On the back, there are three cameras consisting of a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide camera (f/2.2), and a 2 MP macro camera (f/2.4).

For the kitchen runway sector, this Redmi phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset (6nm) combined with 4/6/8GB RAM and 128GB media storage.

Xiaomi includes a 5GB RAM expansion feature to increase RAM capacity to a total of 13GB. There is also an external microSD slot for expanding media storage up to 1 TB.

This phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with a 33 watt fast charging feature. For software, this phone runs the Android 13 operating system overlaid with the MIUI 14 interface.

Other features that the regular Redmi Note 12 includes NFC, a fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button (side-mounted fingerprint scanner), 3.5 mm audio jack, and water and dust resistance with an IP53 rating.
