Jakarta, Selular.ID – Xiaomi, through Redmi, is reportedly going to release a gaming version, which will launch this year. Details of this mysterious device have been revealed on Weibo, citing important details it possesses.
Reportedly this device comes with a Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with a small hole design for the selfie camera, as seen on the Mi 11 and Redmi K40. Then this device also has a Dimensity 1200 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, and reportedly enough to fully charge from empty in just 30 minutes.
As information, Dimensity 1200 has eight cores with a 1 + 3 + 4 configuration, namely one Cortex-A78 core with a speed of 3 GHz, three Cortex-A78 cores with a speed of 2.6GHz, and four power-saving Cortex-A55 cores with a speed of 2 GHz. Then MediaTek complements this chip with HyperEngine 3.0, which is intended to improve the game’s performance when playing games.
For your information, the dimensity 1200 was released along with the Dimensity 1100, which is basically the same chip. It’s just that the Dimensity 1100 doesn’t have a ‘main core’. All of its A78 cores run at 2.6GHz.
Then this gaming Redmi device also adopts several gaming features, such as a button located on the shoulder of a smartphone for high-end gaming phones in general.
The most interesting thing about the size of a gaming cellphone is the price tag given, only around $ 300-380 or around Rp.3.4 million rupiah, meaning it will be the cheapest gaming phone on the market.
