Xiaomi is supplementing its 13 series with the latest models, and the time has come for the absolute foundation in the form of the Redmi 13C, which officially introduced, even for global markets. This is a device for the least demanding, who will not mind that the equipment is full of compromises. First of all, let’s say that it will be a very large device, as evidenced by the 6.74″ IPS display, albeit only with HD+ resolution. The situation is easily saved by the 90Hz refresh rate and a decent maximum brightness of 650 nits.
Under the hood is a MiedaTek Helio G85 with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. However, there will also be two weaker variants of 128+6 GB and 64+4 GB. The environment is provided by Android 13 with the MIUI 14 superstructure.
A module with two cameras can be seen on the back. The main sensor is 50 Mpx and is accompanied by a 2 Mpx macro lens. However, it can be guessed that it will be a camera for working with depth of field. The list of cameras is rounded off by a front 5MP camera. Inside the phone is a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and this year Xiaomi has finally abandoned the old connector and is ready for standard USB-C. 18W charging is supported. Other equipment includes Bluetooth 5.3 and LTE, while few expect 5G in this category.
Xiaomi Redmi 13C starts selling in the first markets for 3.5 thousand crowns for the top variant, which represents 256GB of internal memory.
