Xiaomi presents its new Mi Box 4S Max with HDMI 2.1 and support for 8K content

The tech giant we know as Xiaomihas quietly launched in his native China a new Mi Box 4S Max.

Xiaomi’s new multimedia device stands out mainly for integrating an HDMI 2.1 port to be able to send content in 8K quality with dynamic HDR, as well as being compatible with Dolby and DTS audio.

Inside we find an Amlogic S905X3 quad-core processor accompanied by 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, features that many will appreciate.

Unfortunately there is no mention of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which would be a shame for the features of this device. What is mentioned is that it comes with MIUI for TV pre-installed, which provides support for MIJIA app and XiaoAI voice assistant.

This Mi Box 4S Max is being marketed in China for 499 yuan, about 75 dollars approximately.
