A lamp that is controlled from the mobile
The new Xiaoda disinfection lamp, one of those that belongs to the Chinese app ecosystem, offers us a rate of sterilization of 99.9% of viruses. A lamp that you do have to use with some caution, since as you know we should never look directly at this light, because of the damage it could cause to our eyes, in the same way as if we did it directly in the sun. In this case, the lamp has a mechanism that limits its use for one second. Although it has a mode in which it can be turned on for 30 minutes to kill viruses in a room during that time. Logically, this will depend on the size of the room where we place it, since it will be easier to disinfect a smaller room, where light reaches all corners.
This lamp throws 254nm ultraviolet rays, easily destroying the molecular structure of DNA and RNA of bacteria. From Youpin they assure that this lamp has the support of the Chinese health authorities to certify the usefulness against the coronavirus. One of the most positive aspects of this lamp is that it offers us more effective protection within a room, since the light can reach every corner with the power it has. We can also control the operation of the lamp from the phone, thanks to the Wifi connectivity with which it counts.
In this way we can connect with the Mijia app and turn on the lamp, turn it off or program its operation easily. Also can be linked to scenes from different voice assistants, in this case Xiaoai from Xiaomi, so with a voice command we can control its operation. The lamp has three types of program, being able to execute programs of 30 minute, 60 minute and 90 minute disinfection. The maximum disinfection power of the lamp is for a room of 40 square meters. This lamp at the moment as usual has reached the Chinese market, where it has been put on sale for 21 euros at the exchange, a quite attractive price, especially when we talk about a product that can make our day to day safer by eliminating all viruses that is floating in the air of our living room, kitchen, bedroom and any other room where its reach can be sufficiently effective.
