Related leaks Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 sticking out again. This time it is reported that the folding screen smartphone from China will come with the latest, more sophisticated hinge design.
This leak comes from well-known leaker, @DCS. He said the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 has a smaller inner screen fold and is easier to open/close.

It doesn’t stop there, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is also said to be using AG glass which is thinner and lighter than the previous model. The color matching and design will be similar to the Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 itself comes with the code name “zizhan” and has the model number 22061218C. The smartphone will use a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner screen that can be folded in both directions.
As reported by Gizchina, Saturday (23/4/2022), both the internal screen and the external screen support 2K and a high refresh rate. Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 may be present carrying the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor.
Until now, Xiaomi itself has not provided any clarification regarding the leaked Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. So this is all just speculation. We’ll just have to wait for the official information later.
To note, folding screen smartphones themselves are on the rise lately and there are only two brands that dominate the folding screen smartphone market, namely Samsung and Huawei.
The latest report from DSCC shows that Samsung and Huawei have 99% of the foldable smartphone market for Q3 2021. Samsung has a 93% market share, while Huawei has 6%.
Other brands with foldable smartphones include Xiaom i, Motorola, Royole, Microsoft, TCL and others share only 1%.
