Xiaomi has announced the price and availability of its new top device, the Mi 11, in the Netherlands. The phone is for sale from mid-March for 849 euros.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 has previously appeared in China, but will soon also be released in Europe. The phone has a large 6.81-inch screen with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is only interrupted by a hole at the top left; it contains the selfie camera (20 megapixels).
Three more lenses can be found on the back. It concerns a standard camera with which photos of 108 megapixels can be taken, a wide-angle lens (13 megapixels) and a telemacro lens (5 megapixels).
The Xiaomi Mi 11 has a fingerprint scanner in the screen. Furthermore, the device is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor, with which, among other things, 5G internet is supported. The phone has 256 GB of storage space and 8 GB of RAM. It also has a 4,600 mAh battery and can be charged wired (55W) and wireless (50W).
After Apple and Samsung, Xiaomi is also relinquishing a supplied power plug, the company previously announced. Xiaomi says that it can deliver less onerous packaging due to the lack of a plug block. “We understand that this choice will not be understood by everyone,” the company says. “Maybe people will even complain about it.”
