BEIJING, iNews.id – Launching Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra it is already near. Shortly before the launch, a company official had revealed the new battery technology used in the upcoming high-end flagship smartphone.
Xiaomi Senior Product Marketing Manager and Global Spokesperson, Daniel D, shared the new details of Mi 11 Ultra on Twitter, today (26/3/2021). According to the official, this premium class handset features a new super fast charging anode silicon-oxygen battery technology.
This new battery offers a few Core benefits, such as making the battery thinner, while being able to charge faster. Furthermore, Daniel added further, this new battery technology is also similar to that used in electric vehicles, saying, he added a nanoscale silicon material to the negative electrode to increase the theoretical gram capacity of 10x vs graphite.
In other words, the switch to a silicon-oxygen anode battery should allow the Mi 11 Ultra from the Chinese tech giant to carry a larger power capacity. Gizmo China, Friday (26/3/2021).
