Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and Pro, First Minute Sales Raise IDR 2.6 Trillion

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The latest series of smartphones Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra hit the market in China. The first sale, as announced on the company’s official Weibo account, was very satisfying as the initial stock sold out immediately. The count in the first minute of the sale immediately earned 1.2 billion Yuan, or the equivalent of Rp. 2.6 trillion.

Initial stock is sold out for both phone models. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra use the same type of chipset, namely the Snapdragon 888. They also feature a 6.81-inch 120Hz E4 AMOLED display and Samsung’s GN2 camera sensor.

Both models also have the same specifications for a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh with a recharge speed of 67 W (with or without cables.

On the Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi added a 48 MP sensor behind the periscope and ultrawide cameras. This is what makes it better than Mi 11 Pro. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra also has a tiny second screen on the back so that objects photographed using the main camera can also take selfies.

Xiaomi released globally Mi 11 Ultra and Pro on 29 March. All variants of the two models have hit the market starting April 2 in China with prices starting at 5,999 Yuan or the equivalent of Rp. 13.3 million. There is no news yet about its availability outside China even though there is already a price tag in Europe, namely 1,200 Euros or around Rp. 20.5 million for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra 12/256 GB variant.
