Today, the popular Chinese manufacturer introduced a brand new line of smartphones Xiaomi 12S, but also the Mi Band 7 Pro bracelet (also referred to as Smart Band 7 Pro). It brings a significant improvement over the standard one Mi Band 7. First of all, it is a much larger AMOLED display with a diagonal of 1.64″ and a resolution of 280 × 456 pixels. With its wider shape, it resembles a hybrid between a smart watch and a fitness bracelet, which it embodies, for example Huawei Watch Fit 2. There is also an Always-On mode with supported watch faces.
Other beneficial functions include built-in GPS, as well as other global positioning satellite systems GLONASS, Galileo or Beidou. This is a big advantage over regular trackers from the Mi Band series, which unfortunately do not have these technologies. It is also worth noting the water resistance up to 5 ATM pressure (50 meters) or the 235mAh battery with a real life of 6 to 12 days.
In terms of fitness measurement, the Mi Band 7 Pro can monitor up to 117 different actions and sports activities, including ball sports, swimming or amateur and advanced running. As part of these activities, the wearable measures distance traveled, kilometers walked, calories burned, heart rate and blood oxygen levels. It can even measure heart rate and blood oxygenation continuously throughout the day. There is also sophisticated sleep monitoring, including individual cycles.
Xiaomi introduced a new product for the Chinese market at a price of 400 yuan (about CZK 1,700 including tax). Availability in the country is still in the stars. Basic model Mi Band 7 arrived on the Czech market only recently with a price of 1,290 CZK.
