Xiaomi M10 and M10 Pro: All technical details

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has announced two new smartphones, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. Both devices will be officially presented by the manufacturer during a live stream on March 27, but the manufacturer has already released the data sheets.

Both models are powered by a Snapdragon 865 and thus also offer the latest 5G radio standard. The SoC is supported by 8 GB of RAM and, depending on the device, the internal memory will be between 128 and 256 GB. Furthermore, an AMOLED display with 6.67 inches and an FHD + resolution is installed in both models. The maximum brightness is specified at up to 1,200 nits and the frequency is accelerated up to 90 Hz.

The main differences between the two models are the rear cameras. The Mi 10 Pro will work as the main sensor with 108 megapixels. In addition, an ultra wide-angle camera with 20 megapixels is used and two telelenses with 12 and 8 megapixels each. These allow a 10x hybrid zoom. In addition, 8K video recordings with up to 30 fps are possible.

Camera structure changed on the Mi 10

The Mi 10 also comes with the main sensor with 108 megapixels, but will have to make do with the ultra wide-angle camera with 13 megapixels. In addition, one installs a macro lens with 2 megapixels and another 2 megapixel sensor for the depth information. This completely eliminates the possibility of hybrid zoom on the Mi 10. However, there is no need to do without 8K videos here either.

Mi 10 offers a larger battery with less charging speed

With the battery, Xiaomi names a capacity of 4,500 mAh for the Pro model, which can be charged with up to 50 W. Wireless charging is also possible with 30 W. With the Mi 10, however, the battery will offer 4,780 mAh and can be charged with a maximum of 30 W via cable and wirelessly. In addition to 5G, both models naturally also support LTE and WiFi 6.

Xiaomi has not yet mentioned prices in its data sheets and availability has not been announced. However, this information will certainly be provided for the official presentation no later than March 27. The live stream can be played on March 27 at 2 p.m. can be followed directly on YouTube.
