The big challenge was to design an 88-degree glass panel and integrate it 3D. Finishing on all four sides requires self-developed glass processing equipment, hot bending at a temperature below 800 degrees Celsius and high pressure, four different finishing tools and over ten complex procedures.
Thousands of tests were performed to make such a 88-degree curved glass panel. To attach the 88-degree curved piece of glass to the flexible screen, an innovative 3D gluing procedure was used. All these efforts ensure a high screen performance.
