Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 13 Series with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Processor

Xiaomi will hold a press conference at 7 pm on Thursday (September 21) to launch the Redmi Note 13 series of new mid-range phones in the Chinese market. This series is said to have at least 3 versions: Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+, Xiaomi has recently announced the processor selection of Redmi Note 13 Pro through its official Weibo.

On Thursday, Xiaomi revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. Although this processor has just been released and uses 4nm process technology, its performance is actually lower than that of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2, consisting of four processors. It consists of a 2.4GHz performance core and four 1.95GHz energy-saving cores, paired with relatively weak FastConnect 6700 and Spectra ISP versions. As for the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Xiaomi uses the better-performing MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra, which is also a 4nm process processor.

Using SD7S G2 processor

According to the Geekbench running results leaked earlier, the single-core and multi-core scores of Redmi Note 13 Pro are 1,012 and 2,943 points. The data shows that the tested phone is equipped with 16GB RAM and pre-loaded Android 13 system, which is estimated to be the MIUI 14 version.
