Xiaomi is reportedly working on 2 cheap phones with 64MP and 108MP cameras.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BEIJING – There are rumors about two smart phones Xiaomi Low-cost equipped with 64MP and 108MP cameras were in the works last July. However, no more information has been leaked since then.
Reporting from GSMarena, Monday (21/9), now a well-known Weibo leak has revealed the password names of the two cellphones. He also leaked the model number of the cellphone with a 108MP camera.
It is believed the code names were Gauguin and Gauguin Pro. The last model has a 108MP sensor. Meanwhile, the non-pro version reportedly uses a 64MP main camera.
The Pro version will be the cheapest handset with the sensor. This may also be safe to assume both are under the Redmi brand.
The rest of the specs haven’t been revealed as leaks suggest a release is imminent.
Previously, last week Xiaomi again presented a cellphone with the price of a million Redmi 9C. This phone targets young people with a triple camera and a 5,000mAh battery.
