It was Mistore.se and East & West Distribution AB, distributors for Xiaomi, who opened the physical store in February 2020. At the time, the idea was to offer Xiaomi’s range and have the opportunity to meet the customers for real. Today, Mistore announces on its Facebook page that the store is closing for good. Now, instead, they will invest in online sales only again. In the message on Facebook, it is announced that the store will have a clearance sale to finish the stock until February 26, and then they refer customers to the online store or to other, independent retailers.

Recently, Samsung also closed its only Swedish flagship store. It opened in 2018 on Kungsgatan in Stockholm and recently closed, four years later. Xiaomi’s store in the Mall of Scandinavia only survived two years.
