Not so long ago we brought you a review of Xiaomi walkie talkies and now the Chinese company has released the next generation called Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S. It offers several novelties and, last but not least, longer durability. It lasts up to 120 hours in standby mode and is charged via USB-C.
Xiaomi Walkie Talkie 2S offers compared to its predecessor they have a slightly thinner body and are textured to hold better in the hand. It also weighs only 130 grams. It dominates the front 1.7 inch color display, which is also new. Of course, there is also certification IP54, although we could imagine IP68 for a product that you will mainly use outdoors. Each of the radios boasts a 36mm speaker, but there is also an audio jack for connecting headphones. You can listen to, for example, fm radio.
The transmitters support up to 80 custom channels, and you can set the frequency of each of them separately. You will learn about this issue in the already mentioned review. The total power is 4 W. The price was set at 299 CNY, which is about 970 crowns without tax.
