JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – Xiaomi Indonesia has decided not to sell their Redmi Note 10 series of phones anymore.
This decision also includes stopping production of phones with the regular series.
The production stoppage was caused by a shortage of semiconductor chip components which also impacted the global electronics business.
Alvin Tse, Country Director of Xiaomi Indonesia explained that the Redmi Note 10 inventory is empty due to lack of components chip.
“Redmi Note 10 supply is currently empty due to supply shortages chip,” said Country Director Xiaomi Indonesia, Alvin Tse, as quoted from Kompas.com, Wednesday (25/08/2021).

On the same occasion, the official Xiaomi Indonesia account also announced the termination of the production of new mobile phones issued at the end of March 2021.
“Thank you, Xiaomi Fans! Redmi Note 10 has entered the end of the cycle & will no longer be produced for Indonesia,” he wrote.

Redmi Note 10 is a mobile phone with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen. Having a Snapdragon 678 chipset, this phone is equipped with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory.
When introduced, the Redmi Note 10 was priced at an introductory price of IDR 2,399,000 and a normal price of IDR 2,499,000
