Xiaomi has published its financial report with the accounts of the past year 2021. Some figures that improve notably compared to the 2020 data.
In 2021, Xiaomi managed to achieve a total revenue of 328.3 billion yuan, around 46.87 billion euros at the exchange rate. These revenues have given the company an adjusted profit of 3,140 million euros, a figure that thus represents a year-on-year growth of 69.5%.
These gains are due to Xiaomi’s increased presence in the smartphone segment. The company sold no less than about 190 million of units worldwide, 30% more than in 2020.
Xiaomi will invest part of these profits in its research and development department to continue offering new products to its customers and increase its presence in different markets such as the automotive market. Only last year the company invested 1,800 million euros.
Neither the crisis caused by the pandemic nor the semiconductor crisis have stopped the company’s growth. We will see what 2022 holds for Xiaomi and its growth.
