The official Xiaomi YouTube channel appeared video ads new charger for smartphones. As promised, its power will be 80 W – exactly twice as much as a similar device of the main competitors of Xiaomi, Huawei. The timing of the start of sales is not reported.

Xiaomi has been making wireless chargers for over two years. In 2018, the company introduced the Xiaomi Mix 2S with 7.5-watt charging, and a few months later, the Xiaomi Mix 3 with 10-watt charging.

In the Russian official store of the company, wireless devices of older models can be buy at a price of 1390-4000 rubles.

The company is now making a 55W wireless charger. It was launched in August along with the flagship smartphone Mi 10 Ultra and is capable of charging a phone with a 4500mAh battery in 26 minutes. In Russia, such charging is not yet available, but in foreign stores for sale for about $ 45.
