Technology has performed more and more magnificent and surprising feats every day. Can you imagine having to travel or go on vacation and not worry about your little fish? Come to think of it, the Xiaomi developed a smart aquarium which guarantees its functioning even when you are not at home.
smart aquarium
Xiaomi’s smart aquarium monitors the temperature of the water and controls its flow, lights and food. Do you know how all this happens? Through an app.
Xiaomi has innovated by creating several products that still offer some level of connectivity. They have already released an umbrella, a scale and even a nose hair trimmer.
However, the Chinese brand has used its unit called Mijia and launched a smart aquarium. The aquarium is still in the crowdfunding process, but it already promises a lot, such as monitoring multiple aspects of the small aquarium.
The aquarium comes with a kind of kit. This kit can be purchased at any shop in your city that offers it.
The filter is already installed and offers five cleaning stages, together with the water pump. They ensure that no blockages occur, preventing the proliferation of bacteria.
As a result, users only have to change the water every six months. The aquarium is also equipped with a system that can feed the fish and everything is monitored by an app.
What other features does the smart aquarium have?
The aquarium has a thin glass and through the app you can make any kind of adjustment or monitoring. You can consider the lighting scheme, which mimics the natural sunlight outside the aquarium.
Furthermore, the glass used in the body of the product provides 91.3% of the light passing through it. The aquarium is still in the funding stage and there’s no word on when it will ship to China, but we already know it costs 349 Yuan, or about R$270 in direct conversion.
