Xiaomi Civi 1S Officially Launches, Brings “Advanced” Features of Xiaomi 12 Pro All

KOMPAS.com – In September 2021, Xiaomi officially launched a new line of mobile phones in China, namely Xiaomi Civi. As for the first mobile phone born from this new line, it is also named with the same name, namely the Xiaomi Civi.

Seven months later or to be precise in April 2022, instead of a successor, Xiaomi chose to launch a smartphone version upgrade from Xiaomi Civic. The phone is named Xiaomi Civi 1S.

Even though it’s a version upgradeHowever, the improvements brought by the Xiaomi Civi 1S are minimal, which lies in the aspect of the autofocus feature on the front camera and software.

This phone is still equipped with a 32 MP selfie camera, the same as the Xiaomi Civi. However, now, the front camera of the Civi 1S is getting a “legacy” of advanced autofocus features from mobile phones flagship Xiaomi 12 Pro.

The feature is the CyberFocus human eye tracking system developed by Xiaomi.

This feature is equipped with a sophisticated autofocus algorithm so that it can accurately identify photo objects, whether they are humans, animals, or animals. So that the photos become more focused and not blurry.

The CyberFocus autofocus feature itself is absent on the Xiaomi Civi phone released in 2021.

Then, on the software side, now, the Xiaomi Civi 1S is running Android 12 and is covered by Xiaomi’s newest interface, MIUI 13.

For screen specifications, the Civi 1S uses a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD Plus resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 +, and Dolby Vision.

The screen has a brightness level (brightness) maximum up to 950 nits and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

For the photography sector, the Xiaomi Civi 1S is equipped with three rear cameras with the same configuration as the Civi 2021 mobile phone.

The four cameras consist of a 64 MP (f/1.8) main camera, an 8 MP (f/2.2) ultrawide camera that has a 120-degree field of view and a 2 MP macro camera.

For selfies, this phone is equipped with a 32 MP front camera equipped with CyberFocus autofocus.

In the kitchen sector, the Xiaomi Civi 1S is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which is combined with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of media storage.

This phone is supported by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports fast charging 55 watts. Other features that this phone brings include support for 5G networks, an under-display fingerprint scanner (in-display fingerprintWiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB Type-C.

In China, the Xiaomi Civi 1S is sold with the following price tag, as compiled KompasTekno from GizmoChinaFriday (22/4/2022):

• Xiaomi Civi 1S (8/128 GB) – 2,299 yuan (approximately IDR 5.1 million)
• Xiaomi Civi 1S (8/256 GB) – 2,599 yuan (approximately IDR 5.7 million)
• Xiaomi Civi 1S (12/256 GB) – 2,899 yuan (approximately IDR 6.4 million)

There is no official information about the presence of the Xiaomi Civi 1S mobile phone outside the Chinese market, including Indonesia.
