Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Redmi Note 12 will be coming soon to Indonesia. This information was confirmed directly by the Country Director of Xiaomi Indonesia, Wentao Zhao.
In his Instagram account, he uploaded a scene along with the code for the Redmi Note 12 series. But unfortunately, Zhao did not include other information such as the exact launch date.
“12 series. Finally，the wait is over! (12 series. Finally, the wait is over),” he wrote, quoted on Tuesday (14/3/2023).
The presence of the Redmi Note 12 in Indonesia has actually been smelling for a long time. Because several cellphones reported as part of the Redmi Note 12 series have pocketed the Domestic Content Level (TKDN) certificate from the Ministry of Industry.
One of them is the Redmi Note 12 4G which received a certificate dated January 16, 2023. One type has model number 23021RAA2Y.
The code is already registered on the site Federal Communications Commission (FCC) United States. In the FCC document, 23021RAA2Y is called a derivative variant of the parent model that was launched earlier and is assumed to be the Redmi Note 12 4G.
Meanwhile there is one more Redmi cellphone that has a TKDN certificate. However, it is not yet known what mobile phone has the 23028RN4DG model.
There is a possibility that Indonesia will be able to see the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro later. Launch GSMArena, both cellphones use a screen measuring 6.67 inches. One of the differences is in cellphone protection, the Note 12 uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Gorilla Glass 5 on the Note 12 Pro.
From the camera sector, the Redmi Note 12 carries a camera selfie 13MP. While on the back there are three lenses, namely 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro).
Meanwhile, the front camera of the Redmi Note 12 Pro uses 16MP. It still carries three rear cameras, but with a difference in the main sensor which is embedded with 50MP.
