Xiaomi Buds 4 Come with ANC support and LHDC 5.0

Not only by launching the Xiaomi 13 series (Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro), MIUI 14 and Xiaomi Watch S2, Xiaomi has also spoiled its fans by launching the Xiaomi Buds 4. This is the “fast” version of the Buds 4 Pro’s TWS earphones which debuted in China last August.

Yup! Xiaomi Buds 4 comes as a successor to Xiaomi Buds 3 which was launched by Xiaomi last year. These TWS feature a semi-in-ear design like Apple’s AirPods and don’t have silicone ear tips. The Buds 4 also come with an IPX54 rating, so they’re water resistant.

In each earpiece, Xiaomi also packs it with a microphone cutout. Also, like the TWS already available in the market, users can also control various existing functions by tapping the earpiece stem. Meanwhile, further settings can be made via a smartphone.

In terms of audio, Xiaomi Buds 4 are equipped with a dual graphene magnetic dynamic driver. Besides that, Xiaomi has also equipped its new TWS with an intelligent active noise cancellation feature, 360-degree spatial audio, and transparency mode.

Xiaomi Buds 4 also includes Hi-Res wireless audio certification and LHDC 5.0 for CD-level sound quality. There are three internal microphones equipped with noise reduction features for clear call quality. This device is also equipped with a function to eliminate wind noise.

The TWS comes in a pebble-shaped case and charging case with a two-tone design, where the top has a glossy finish and the bottom has a plastic feel. The Buds 4 are powered by a 480mAh battery with each earbud powered by a 30mAh battery cell.

Xiaomi also boasts that its new TWS offers 6 hours of playtime and 30 hours of total battery life. The Xiaomi Buds 4 are priced at RMB 699 (Rp 1.6 million) and are offered in Moon Shadow, Salt Lake White, and Field Green colors.
