Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Book 14 laptop for the global market
It has an excellent display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Intel processors
But the manufacturer has not yet boasted about the price
The Chinese Xiaomi recently showed us the excellent phones of the Xiaomi 14 series, while we can expect their European launch with a high probability in February next year. However, in the meantime, another product appeared on the global market – laptop Xiaomi Book 14which boasts a great display, sufficient performance and compact dimensions.
Xiaomi Book 14 has 14-inch IPS panel with 2.8K resolution. It has an extra display 120Hz refresh rate, a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and covers 100% of the sRGB space. The maximum brightness is then an average of 300 nits. The Chinese company offers a choice of two configurations. The first includes the processor Intel Core i3-1220P, which provides slightly higher performance than, for example, the Ryzen 5 5500U. It is assisted by 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, an integrated Iris Xe graphics chip and a 256 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD drive.
The second configuration has a 512GB SSD drive and a more powerful processor Intel Core i5-12500H. As far as endurance is concerned, the laptop is equipped 56Wh battery, which according to the manufacturer can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, which is hard to believe in combination with the rather voracious Alder Lake processors. Other equipment includes USB-C 3.2 Gen2, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The weight is then 1.37 kg and the system is, of course Windows 11 ve verzi Home. At the moment, the laptop is on the global web, but the manufacturer has kept the price to itself at the moment, as well as the specific availability. So it is not yet clear whether the novelty will head to Europe, i.e. directly to the Czech Republic.
