Xiaomi Band 6 NFC price in Poland and promotion
The suggested retail price of the Xiaomi Band 6 NFC has been set at PLN 249. This is exactly the amount we expected after the European premiere, so it’s hard to talk about a surprise.
The start-up promotion is a surprise. The first buyers will pay PLN 199 for the Xiaomi Band 6 NFC, which is 50 zlotys less. The original costs money less than PLN 160 with importers i 189 zlotys at official sellers. So it’s worth paying extra to the NFC.
A few words about contactless payments
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Band 6 NFC is almost the same as the original. There are only two differences. The presence of Amazon Alexa Assistant will not impress anyone, but handling contactless payments it’s a real hit.
Unfortunately, support for Xiaomi Band 6 NFC in Poland will be quite limited at the start. To bypass system restrictions, Xiaomi decided to cooperate with Mastercard and the virtual cards of this institution will be supported.
The payment process is very simple:
- in the Mi Fit application you choose the Xiaomi Pay service,
- you enter the details of the selected Mastercard, and then the appropriate token will be uploaded to the device,
- before the first payment on a given day, you must select the card saved on the band and enter the PIN code set in the application,
- yes, the “unlocked” band allows payments within 24 hours, as long as it remains on the user’s wrist without interruption.
Users of Mastercard cards issued by financial institutions such as Bank Pocztowy and fintechs ZEN.com and Curve. Soon, bank customers will also be able to pay with the Xiaomi band BNP Paribas, Getin Bank, mBank and SGB-Bank.
As you can see, the start of Xiaomi Band 6 NFC in Poland is not easy, fast and common. Despite this, the debut of the Xiaomi Band 6 NFC on the bank itself is a bull’s eye. Sooner or later, Xiaomi bands with NFC will support contactless payments in other banks, whatever will increase their popularity.
