Xiaomi is preparing to launch its Redmi 12 smartphone with a crystal glass design, on August 1, 2023.
And “Xiaomi” published a post on “Twitter” announcing the launch of its next smartphone – Redmi 12, and “Xiaomi” confirmed that the phone will be available online on Flipkart, mi.com and other stores starting next month.
In describing the release, “Xiaomi” said: “We offer the perfect combination of beauty and innovation by designing the crystal glass phone, an icon of our Xiaomi style.
Redmi 12 specifications
Redmi 12 features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
Redmi 12 comes in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB.
Users can increase the storage space by installing a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s MIUI 14 layer.
The Redmi 12 has a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.
The front of the phone contains an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.1 lens.
The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The IP53 rating makes the device dust and splash resistant.
The entry-level Android smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
