Xiaomi Announces HyperOS System for 80+ Devices in 2024

December 26, 2023

Beijing, December 26 (QNA) – The Chinese company Xiaomi announced the arrival of more than 80 of its devices that will be connected to its “HyperOS” system during the next year. The total number of devices for which the system has been announced is approximately 100 devices so far.

The new list included the Xiaomi 10, 11, 12, and 12S series of phones in their various versions, in addition to the Civi, Redmi K40, K50, and K60 series, and the Note 11, 12, and 13, in addition to the Xiaomi iPad 5 and Redmi Pad tablets, and other devices such as the Mix Fold foldable phone and the Mix 4 phone.

Xiaomi is launching its new system in China first, then the rest of the world later, and the update for these devices is expected to be released during the first half of 2024. The company is also expected to make other customized versions of the system available for home appliances and wearable devices.

Xiaomi had announced the launch of the new HyperOS system globally during the first quarter of next year for some versions, as the initial list included the flagship Xiaomi 13 phones, the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro phones, the Redmi Note 12 and 12S phones, as well as the Xiaomi iPad 6 tablet.

The HyperOS system is not radically different from Xiaomi’s current MIUI interface, as the company maintains the same user interface, and continues to rely on the open source Android system as the basic core of its newly announced system, through which it primarily aims to provide broad integration between the various devices that it offers.
