Xiaomi has announced the Mix Fold, its first foldable Android smartphone. It is also the first smartphone with a liquid lens, which allows 3x to 30x magnification compared to the primary camera.

The Mi Mix Fold runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and gets 12GB or 16GB Lpddr5 memory and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The battery has a capacity of 5020mAh and can be charged with 67W. Xiaomi is currently only releasing the phone in China. The cheapest version there costs 9999 yuan, currently converted to about 1300 euros.
