Xiaomi announces a new router that supports the Mi Wi-Fi app

Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the company’s first routers with 10G support, during a conference scheduled for December 1, entitled Xiaomi 10G.

The teaser revealed that the Xiaomi 10G device includes 6 omnidirectional antennas, as well as an antenna that supports direct connection to Xiaomi smart devices via the dedicated application.

The memory of this router will have a capacity of 512MB and 256MB of ROM and will contain MU-MIMO technology which supports connecting 248 devices simultaneously.

One of the most notable features of the router is the ability to control it via the Mi Wi-Fi app on Android and iOS platforms, and its support for WPA3 security standards.

It is worth noting that the upcoming device features a more powerful processor than the Qualcomm IPQ8072A used in the AX9000.
