Xiaomi 14 Ultra Camera Specifications Leaked, Makes iPhone 15 Inferior

Xiaomi recently launched its newest flagship cellphone, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. But they still have one more surprise, namely Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

According to the latest leak, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in 2024. This cellphone is predicted to come with better camera specifications than the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro.

Tipster Digital Chat Station in his post on Weibo said that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be equipped with four rear cameras with a faster variable aperture.

It is claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will use four rear cameras, all of which have a resolution of 50 MP. This rear camera configuration is the same as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra which was released last year.

But the main camera Xiaomi 14 Ultra will bring a significant upgrade thanks to a variable aperture ranging from f/1.6 to f/4.0. This aperture is slightly different from that used by the Xiaomi 14 Pro (f/1.42 to f/4.0) and larger than the dual aperture of f/1.9 or f/4.0 on the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

Furthermore, Digital Chat Station in a separate post said that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra camera will have a native focal length of 0.5x, 1x, 3.2x and 5x, as quoted from Android Authority, Sunday (3/12/2023).

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also predicted to use the Sony LYT-900 sensor. This is the latest flagship camera sensor from Sony which is claimed to be able to improve camera performance in low-light conditions.

Other information related to specifications Xiaomi 14 Ultra still unknown. Most likely this cellphone will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and run HyperOS.

Rumors circulating previously stated that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra would be launched in the first quarter of 2024. It is not yet known whether this cellphone will be released globally or will be an exclusive product for the Chinese market like the previous generation.
