Gadget – Xiaomi 14 Pro will most likely not be released globally. This decision was taken after the Chinese manufacturer did not test the global development version.
Xiaomi is said to only be testing the regular version of Xiaomi 14. The company seems to have chosen to limit its distribution to the Bamboo Curtain country market only.
The report discusses the internal MIUI build for the Xiaomi 14 Pro which is only available in the latest developer beta, and is limited to the China region only.
The Global Version for Xiaomi 14 Pro does not have the latest version, the last one was released in October 2023. So, for the past two months, Xiaomi has not tested the global software for Xiaomi 14 Pro.
This suggests that the device may not be released internationally. Even if it is still released, the release schedule will allegedly be different from the Xiaomi 14.
Xiaomi itself has limited the distribution of its devices to China only. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra, for example, was not launched globally, even though many were waiting for it.
