FLORES JOURNAL | TECH & SCIENCE – One of the smartphone brands that is aggressively launching new cellphones is Xiaomi.
Xiaomi is ready to launch its newest flagship series Xiaomi 14 to a global audience, with a focus on camera quality and a partnership with renowned camera lens manufacturer, Leica, this series will be launched first on February 25 in India.
The Chinese technology manufacturer revealed the launch of the flagship smartphone in a recent post on X, complete with a photo of a lens, which suggests that the Xiaomi 14 will have a strong focus on its camera.

India Today recently reported that the new smartphone will “reimagine smartphone photography” as the company has partnered with Leica, which is known for its powerful camera lenses.
Based on its Chinese variant, the Xiaomi 14 series runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone runs with the latest HyperOS pre-installed. Underneath the body, the 14 series has a 4,610 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, 50W wireless and 10W wireless reverse charging.
This smartphone features a stunning display, with a 6.36-inch LTPO 1.5K AMOLED display that can reach a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The camera is the highlight of this smartphone, with a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup.
It consists of a 50MP Hunter 900 sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 32MP front camera.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro also has a Titanium Metal Special Edition, which features a titanium metal frame similar to the iPhone 15 and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 14 series was launched in China in November 2023 with prices starting from 3,999 Yuan (around Rp. 8.8 million) for the Xiaomi 14 and 4,999 Yuan (around Rp. 11 million) for the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
