Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – In the middle of last year, Xiaomi confirmed its partnership with veteran camera manufacturer Leica. All of Xiaomi’s flagship HP product lines will be equipped with ‘luxury’ camera modules from the German manufacturer.
So far, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 13 Ultra have Leica cameras. Most recently, it was also announced that the Xiaomi 14 would use a Leica camera, quoted from GSMArena, Thursday (19/10/2023).

This was announced via Xiaomi’s official account on Weibo, a social media from China. In the teaser poster, it is said that the Xiaomi 14 will use a Summilux lens from Leica which is said to have the best capabilities for smartphone products.
Xiaomi 14 is said to be launching in China this October. Several insider sources mention October 27 as the date, although this has not been confirmed directly by Xiaomi.
It is predicted that an announcement regarding the launch schedule will be revealed next week. Meanwhile, Qualcomm is also scheduled to announce its flagship premium chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, at the Snapdragon Summit, in the near future.
Xiaomi 14 is said to be the first cellphone to taste the high-class processor that is the successor to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 which is used in the line of flagship cellphones on the market today.
Apart from the chipset, the Xiaomi 14 battery will reportedly have a capacity of 4,860 mAh with a fast charging feature of 90W with a cable and 50W without a cable.
Meanwhile, the Pro variant is said to use a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging of 120W with cable and 50W without cable.
All the leaks currently circulating regarding batteries and chipsets cannot be trusted 100%. Let’s just wait until Xiaomi launches its newest flagship this month!
