BARCELONA (RIAUPOS.CO) – Xiaomi made the 13 Series device go international at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 event in Barcelona, Spain. Through a glamorous event at MWC, the two phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the Leica camera began to be launched globally.
Reporting from GSMArena, the Xiaomi 13 comes with a compact 6.36-inch OLED with Full HD+ resolution and a maximum brightness of up to 1,900 nits. The camera setup on the back should have processing tailored to the know-how provided by Leica.
This device has a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 3x telephoto camera with 10MP sensors and OIS, and a 12 MP ultrawide sensor that completes its photography needs. Supported by Leica, the photographic capabilities of Xiaomi 13 are clearly very capable.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro carries the display of its predecessor a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1440p resolution. The screen has an ambient color temperature sensor that adjusts the color temperature according to the environment.
The camera trio on the back gets a marked upgrade – the one-inch Sony IMX989 50MP-type sensor is paired with OIS, the 50MP telephoto camera has a 3x zoom range, and the 50MP ultrawide has macro support and brings AF.
The Xiaomi 13 supports 67 Watt wired charging, while the Pro boosts the speed up to 120 Watt. The duo also supports 50 Watt wireless charging and 10 Watt reverse wireless charging. Other general specs include Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers, official IP68 rating, and Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
Xiaomi 13 will go on sale on March 8, 2023 in three color variants, namely Black, White and Green Flowers. The price of this device is offered starting from EUR 999 or around Rp. 16.5 million for the 8GB/256GB version.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will also be available starting March 8 in Ceramic Black or Ceramic White with two memory variants, 12GB/256GB or 12GB/512GB. Prices will start from EUR 1,299 or around IDR 21.6 million.
