Today, Xiaomi introduced another addition to its flagship 13 series. Namely, it is a more affordable piece of Xiaomi 13 Lite, which tries to bring balanced equipment in the upper middle class. The design pays tribute to Xiaomi’s current direction, the interestingly designed photo module on the back, which is dominated by a large circle in which the manufacturer has placed a pair of cameras, attracts attention. It is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor, but Xiaomi does not mention optical image stabilization at all, which would be a huge shame. It is complemented by an 8-megapixel Sony IMX 355 ultra-wide-angle lens. In addition to the imaginary “big eye”, there is still room for a third camera, which is a completely indispensable 2-megapixel macro sensor.
While the cameras won’t make a dent in the world, the display did well. There is a 6.55″ AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The maximum brightness reaches up to 1,000 nits. Performance is handled by Snapdragon 7 Gen1 supported by 8GB of operating memory. This should be enough for more demanding users, the same can be said about 256GB What is completely inexcusable, on the other hand, is the deployment of the outdated Android 12, which would have no business in a new upper mid-range phone.
Something similar to Dynamic Island from Xiaomi is worth paying attention to. There is a large hole in the display, in which the manufacturer has placed two front cameras for seflies. The main 32-megapixel front camera is complemented by an 8-megapixel portrait sensor.
Inside the phone is a small battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh, while it supports 67W wired charging. Using it, you can fully charge your phone in just 40 minutes. Xiaomi ignores wireless charging. In other equipment, you can count on Wi-Fi 6, 5G or NFC and Bluetooth 5.2.
Xiaomi 13 Lite will go on sale in the Czech market on March 13 in black, blue and pink color variants. The price is set very ambitiously and it does 11,999 CZK.
