AKURAT.CO The Xiaomi 12 series has been officially launched in China on Tuesday (12/28/2021). This phone comes in three variants. However, as of this writing, only two variants will be discussed, namely Xiaomi 12 vs Xiaomi 12 Pro. These two sophisticated phones can be said to be upper middle class phones because they are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Design
Both these phones come with the same design. Having a screen has a curved screen on the edges. It comes with a choice of black, blue, pink, and special green colors, both of which look so futuristic. The obvious difference between the two lies in the dimensions and weight. The Xiaomi 12 has dimensions of 152.7 x 69.9 x 8.2 mm and weighs 179 g. While the Xiaomi 12 Pro has dimensions of 163.6 x 74.6 x 8.2 mm and weighs 204 g.
Camera
- Xiaomi 12: Triple 50 + 13 + 5 MP, 32 MP front camera.
- Xiaomi 12 Pro: Quad 50 + 50 + 50 MP, 32 MP front camera.
In terms of camera the Xiaomi 12 Pro is much better than the Xioami 12 version. Where the main camera is 50 MP equipped with a Sony IMX 707 sensor, a 50 MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. While the Xiaomi 12 camera sensor uses a low-end Sony IMX 766 sensor with a resolution of 50 MP, a 13 MP ultrawide camera, and a 5 MP telephoto macro sensor.

In addition to the larger dimensions and weight, the battery capacity of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is also 100 mAh larger than that of the Xiaomi 12. Both are equipped with fast charging and wireless charging features. The Xiaomi 12 has 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, while the Xiaomi 12 Pro features 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
