Apart from the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro which were already launched in China in December, the Xiaomi 12X is a newcomer.
Xiaomijust held a series global launch event Xiaomi 12 which is highly anticipated along with the Xiaomi Watch S1, Watch S1 Active, and the Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro. The Xiaomi 12 series consists of three models, namely the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and the cheaper Xiaomi 12X.
The Xiaomi 12 model will soon be available for the markets of Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, Middle East and Latin America. As Tek.id quoted from Gizmochina (16/3), for the global market will follow soon.
Apart from the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro which were already launched in China in December, the Xiaomi 12X is a newcomer. Xiaomi 12X has a chip mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, different from the flagship model which uses the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
Regarding the price, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced starting at USD 1,000 (Rp. 14.2 million) for the 8GB RAM variant and 256GB storage. There is also a 12GB RAM version bundled with 256GB storage. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 is priced at USD 750 (Rp 10.7 million) for the 8GB+128GB model.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12X has a cheaper price tag, starting at $650 (Rp9.2 million) for the 8GB RAM variant and 128GB storage. This model also offers a higher internal storage variant of 256GB.
Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X are available in three color options; Gray, Purple, and Blue. The green skin color options available in China are not presented for the global market.
