At its introduction, Xiaomi 12 Series has three series, namely Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X.
Quoted from GSM Arena, the three series carry two different chipsets where Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 while Xiaomi 12X uses Snapdragon 870 SoC.
It’s just that the Xiaomi 12X series is only marketed in China.

Xiaomi 12
The Xiaomi 12 series has the smallest screen size in Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone sector.
The screen measures 6.28 inches with AMOLED panels and supports resolutions up to FHD + and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
It also has embedded fingerprint technology under the screen and is coated with screen protection from Corning’s Gorilla Victus to avoid scratches.
Then in the camera sector, Xiaomi 12 has a main camera with pixels of 50 MP which is equipped with a sensor from Sony IMX 766.
