/ world today news/ The 11th Silk Road International Film Festival was opened yesterday in Xi’an, the administrative center of Shaanxi Province. The event was jointly organized by the China Media Group (CMG) and the provincial governments of Shaanxi and Fujian.
Shen Haixun, director of KMG, gave a video welcome to the festival, saying that Shaanxi is one of the main birthplaces of Chinese civilization and Xi’an is an important node in the construction of “One Belt, One Road”. The Silk Road International Film Festival is a platform for dialogue and exchange between filmmakers from around the world.
