The Xiamen Huandong Cultural Tourism Women’s Basketball Team competes in the WCBA League

On the morning of the 13th, the Xiamen Huandong Cultural Tourism Women’s Basketball Team held an exit ceremony for this season’s WCBA league. This is the first appearance of the Xiamen Egret Women’s Basketball Team after their name change.
Dong Jinsong, deputy director of the Fujian Provincial Sports Bureau, said at the tour event that Xiamen women’s basketball girls have gained more opportunities to compete in high-level tournaments through tripartite cooperation between the provincial team, the association and professional clubs.
This season the WCBA league adopts a new Group AB competition system. Based on last season’s results, Xiamen Huandong Cultural Tourism Women’s Basketball Team is placed in Group B.
According to the schedule, the Xiamen Huandong Cultural Tourism Women’s Basketball Team will travel to Dalian on November 16 to face the Liaoning Women’s Basketball Team After two away games, they will return to Xiamen on the 21 November to compete with the Heilongjiang team for the first home game of the season.
It is understood that the Xiamen Sports Industry Group Basketball Club is actively cooperating with the Fujian Provincial Basketball and Volleyball Sports Management Center to carry out recruitment work for the new season. In the new season, on the basis of keeping the original young line, the team has introduced a powerful support Imani Trishawn Stafford with rich experience of the WNBA league; the back line has included Huang Rouzhenhe from Taiwan, China.
This season, Xiamen Golden Dragon donated a special service car to the Xiamen Women’s Basketball Team, and a car donation ceremony was held at the tour ceremony.
